Our client in Coleraine are seeking HGV Class 2 drivers to join their team The successful candidate will ensure that our client can offer next-day delivery across the Island of Ireland. As an HGV Class 2 driver, you will be required to handle, unload and deliver a wide variety of frozen, chilled and ambient products to customers whilst providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Providing excellent customer service when delivering goods to customers
• Following a specific route as outlined by the transport department
• Daily checking of delivery vehicles including fridge and tail lift
• Adhering to all Health and Safety Regulations
• Handling delivery dockets, paperwork and cash & completing paperwork correctly
• Communicating with transport office and the telesales team
• Avoiding damages to stock through proper manual handling

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Must be flexible with working hours
• HGV Class 2/ Category C licence
• Up-to-date CPC
• Digi card
• Good communication skills
• Be able to work using your own initiative
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
