Job description

The Room Supervisor will be responsible for day to day running of our Wraparound and KS1 Out-of-School Club to ensure safe, stimulating play, in a safe, caring and welcoming environment for children and their families.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, caring, and welcoming environment for children and families.
• Support and lead staff to maintain high-quality care and supervision.
• Plan and deliver fun, play-based activities suited to children aged 4-8 years.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• A QCF Level 5 Diploma in Playwork or or working towards. A relevant qualification in social work, teaching or health visiting will also be considered.
• A minimum of two years paid experience working with children.

Desirable Skills

• Paediatric First Aid Training. Child-Protection Training.
• Basic Food Hygiene and Health & Safety.
