Room Leader
Job description
The successful candidate will work as part of a small team to supervise, interact and help with all aspects of our Out of Schools Club. They will contribute to planning and ensuring a safe, fun environment for each child. We open from 8am-6pm Monday-Friday during school holiday periods and therefore hours can be combined over 3-4 days.
Responsibilities
- The successful candidate will help set up a safe, caring environment for children.
- The successful candidate will interact with children in their care and carry out planned activities to meet our programme of events.
- The successful candidate will communicate effectively with their team and families using our service.
- The successful candidate will help carry out daily risk assessments to ensure a safe, healthy environment is achieved for all users.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- A qualification held or currently studying in Early years, Social work or currently studying towards a level 5 in leadership & Management.
Desirable Skills
- 2 years paid experience in a childcare setting desired
