Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Minimum Level 3 Children's Care Learning and Development (CCLD) or equivalent
• Paediatric First Aid Child protection Training
• Excellent working knowledge of Curricular Guidance for Preschool Education, Department of Education for Northern Ireland
• This position requires strong communication skills

Desirable Skills

• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
• DCPO (Designated Child Protection Officer Training)
• Knowledge and practical experience of the Department of Education Preschool Education Programme (PSEP)
