An Exciting Leadership Opportunity We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Home Manager to lead our boutique 22-bedded nursing home, Seaview House, nestled in the scenic surroundings of Ballyholme Bay, Bangor, Co. Down. This vacancy arises due to the planned retirement of our current manager. You’ll join a compassionate and established team supported by a highly experienced Responsible Individual and General Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic, forward-thinking registered nurse who is passionate about high-quality care and innovation in service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Provide strong leadership and operational oversight to ensure high standards of clinical and person-centred care.
• Manage, mentor, and motivate a multidisciplinary team to promote a culture of excellence, kindness, and accountability
• Ensure full compliance with all regulatory requirements, including RQIA standards and internal quality frameworks.
• Oversee care planning, risk assessments, and safeguarding protocols, ensuring each resident receives personalised and dignified care.
• Manage staffing, budgeting, and resource allocation to optimise efficiency without compromising care quality
• Lead on quality improvement initiatives, audits, and the implementation of best practices.
• Build strong relationships with residents, families, staff, external professionals, and regulators.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Registered Nurse (NMC) with active PIN and eligibility to register as Home Manager.
• Minimum of 3 years’ recent experience in a leadership role (Deputy or Registered Manager) within a nursing home or clinical care setting.
• Proven ability to manage, support and develop staff teams effectively.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and time management skills.
• Flexible approach to working hours and availability; full driving licence and access to a vehicle are required
