Field Sales Executive


Job description

We’re seeking a results-driven Sales Executive with a passion for technology and a strong background in the food and hospitality sector. This role focuses on selling our integrated EPOS (Electronic Point of Sale) systems to restaurants, bars, cafés, and other hospitality businesses across Northern and Southern Ireland. As a key part of our growth strategy, you will identify new business opportunities, build lasting relationships, and deliver tailored EPOS solutions that help clients improve operations, service, and profitability.

Responsibilities

  • Your key responsibility will be establishing and successfully closing new business opportunities and delivering a high level of customer service and feedback at all times.
  • Your job as a Field Sales Executive is to identify sales leads, pitch goods and services to new clients and maintain a good working relationship with new contacts.
  • Once sales are established you will develop strong customer relationships ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction from start to finish.
  • Developing and delivering sales pitches to potential new clients. To work to targets and achieve agreed sales KPIs.
  • Upselling new products to prospective clients. The ability to plan ahead
  • Proactively identify and generate new sales opportunities within the food and hospitality industry Develop and manage a strong pipeline of prospects across both Northern and Southern Ireland
  • Conduct effective product demonstrations and consultations to understand client needs Negotiate terms and close sales contracts with confidence and clarity
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with key decision-makers Stay up to date on product features, industry trends, and competitor offerings
  • Collaborate with internal teams (implementation, support, marketing) to ensure a smooth client onboarding experience

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Previous experience selling into the food and hospitality sector
  • Proven sales experience in the food and hospitality sector, ideally selling similar B2B tech solutions
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across Ireland as required

Desirable Skills

  • Sales experience in food or hospitality
