Job description

We are seeking Production Operatives for our client, Mulrines, a preimer juice production company. These positions are based in Sion Mills.

Responsibilities

• Operate Tetra, Elopak Pak and Mariani production machinery according to established procedures.
• Monitor machine performance, detect defects, and address any malfunctions promptly.
• Minimize waste during machine and mixer operations.
• Ensure compliance with operational safety, food safety, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with process engineers and other machine operators to maintain quality output.
• Safe operation of fork trucks for loading and unloading of product
• Keep equipment clean and well-maintained in accordance with procedures.
• Recording of production records to ensure the traceability of goods from production to customer
• Work with colleagues in Quality/Warehousing/Maintenance to resolve issues and maximise efficiency
• Undertake Training and Development as required
• Undertake any other relevant duties as required of the role

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Be qualified to Junior Cert/GCSE standard with experience operating computerised production machinery, or possess 1 years’ experience operating computerised production machinery.
• Previous experience in a FMCG environment would be an advantage
• Level of English: Reasonable with good writing skills as the job involves record keeping.

Desirable Skills

• Experience operating a Fork Truck would be desirable
