Job description

We are recruiting on behalf of our service user who requires a live-in Care Assistant for 5 to 6 days a week. It is more of a support worker and companion role, providing assistance to a 53-year-old lady recovering from an eating disorder related to anxiety and a recent heart attack. A driver is essential for this position, and the applicant must be comfortable around dogs. The carer can sleep at night, as the main purpose is to have someone present in the home to offer a sense of safety and support during recovery. Responsibilities

• Responsibilities include providing companionship, carrying out light housework, and offering support such as bringing drinks and small items to her bedroom.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• This role is ideally suited to someone with at least one year of care experience, who is also first aid trained.
