Responsibilities

• Lead with professionalism, compassion, and kindness.
• Ensure residents feel secure, respected, and independent.
• You'll manage a team of Care Assistants, uphold high care standards, and maintain accurate records.
• Strong communication skills and teamwork are essential as you support both residents and colleagues, including assisting the Home and Deputy Managers.
• Your duties include administering medication, conducting audits, and contributing to residents’ physical and mental wellbeing.
• A positive attitude, excellent time management, and strong interpersonal skills are key to success in this role.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Experience with person-centred dementia care.
• Experience of supervising a team within a care setting.
• NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care preferred or a willingness to achieve this.
