Responsibilities
- Lead with professionalism, compassion, and kindness.
- Ensure residents feel secure, respected, and independent.
- You'll manage a team of Care Assistants, uphold high care standards, and maintain accurate records.
- Strong communication skills and teamwork are essential as you support both residents and colleagues, including assisting the Home and Deputy Managers.
- Your duties include administering medication, conducting audits, and contributing to residents’ physical and mental wellbeing.
- A positive attitude, excellent time management, and strong interpersonal skills are key to success in this role.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Experience with person-centred dementia care.
- Experience of supervising a team within a care setting.
- NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care preferred or a willingness to achieve this.
