Responsibilities

  • Tenancy termination & management of Housing Executive empty properties (voids).
  • Tenancy management of existing and new tenancies and other tenure types existing within Housing Executive managed estates / properties.
  • Dealing with transfer requests by tenants.
  • Income collection and rent account management in respect of new, existing and outgoing tenants.
  • Resolve estate management issues which could contribute to failed tenancies or estate decline.
  • Responsible for planned maintenance and associated consultation, customer payments, organising, recording and monitoring associated decant and other arrangements for tenants as necessary.
  • Act as the first point of contact in all matters relating to community involvement, community cohesion, and community safety.
  • Liaison with the Housing Executive's leasehold unit regarding stakeholders within the patch.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Level 6 qualification (degree) with a minimum of 1 years relevant experience.
  • OR Level 5 (BTEC Higher cert/diploma) qualification with 2 years relevant experience.
  • OR Can demonstrate equivalent continuing professional development/experiential learning and 3 years relevant experience.
  • Relevant experience is considered as experience in a customer support environment such as citizens advice, or social services.
  • Ability to work with partners and develop professional relationships and networks across a wide range of services.
  • Ability to deal with difficult and complex situations.
  • IT/ Microsoft Office Proficiency: Intermediate.
  • A full current driving licence and access to a form of transport.
  • As part of the reference checking and vetting process for this position you will be requested to undertake a Basic AccessNI Disclosure. Having a criminal record will not necessarily be a bar to obtaining a position.
