Responsibilities

• Responsible for the smooth running of all production equipment, ensuring that downtime is kept to a minimum.
• Ensure that all repairs are completed successfully.
• Provide service and support to plant facilities and systems.
• Actively contribute to the development of equipment, processes and products.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• A minimum of 1 years’ practical experience of fault finding on analogue/digital systems within a manufacturing environment.
• Must have recognised apprenticeship in a mechanical/electrical engineering discipline or be time served.
• Working knowledge of PLCs (Programmable Logic Controller).
• Thorough understanding of electrical circuitry.
• Computer literate.
