Job description

We are currently looking for a Driver with Caring Duties on behalf of the team at Holywell Hospital. This is a temporary role, lasting around 2-3 months initially, with the potential of extension.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport clients / patients to and from Trust Adult and Day Care facilities.
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance and safety checks.
• Operate vehicle tail lifts, where necessary.
• Accurately complete journey and vehicle usage records.
• Ensure the safe securing of wheelchair users using approved restraints.
• Deliver and collect food supplies, furniture, and other materials as directed by management.
• Provide general assistance to clients / patients based on their individual needs.
• Administer minor first aid to passengers when required.
• Support staff and clients during facility functions, day trips, and other outings under the supervision of the Care Assistant.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Category D Licence is required with no restrictions.
• CPC Card valid for at least 2 years.
