Job description

As a Laundry Assistant, you will be a member of the support services team. Your main Laundry Assistant responsibilities will be to ensure the laundry of residents and general care home is completed in a professional and timely manner. This includes using washing machines, dryers, and ironing equipment safely and efficiently as well as neatly folding, hanging, or preparing clean laundry for redistribution. Responsibilities

• To ensure the laundry of residents and general care home is completed in a professional and timely manner.
• Using washing machines, dryers, and ironing equipment safely and efficiently as well as neatly folding, hanging, or preparing clean laundry for redistribution.
• Daily tasks as a Laundry Assistant include keeping the laundry area clean, tidy and organised as well as following health and safety standards to avoid contamination and accidents.

• Confidently maintain high standards of work whilst handling resident belongings with care and respect.
• Able to organise and prioritise your tasks effectively.
