Job description
To oversee the safe and efficient day-to-day operation of the Harbour and Harbour Estate and the cost-effective provision of services to Port Users, including the supervision of the Harbour Foreperson and all other team members. This is a ‘hands on’ role, the Harbour Master works alongside team members as much as directs. A significant level of flexibility in attendance is required to ensure the safe running of the harbour. Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Marine qualification, 5 GCSE at Grade C or equivalent or higher, certified basic safety training.

Desirable Skills
- At least two of the following: Fork Lift Truck Certificate, First Aid Certificate, VHF Operators Certificate, Level 2 Award in Food Safety Certificate.
