Job description

Mechanical Engineering Apprentice with one day attendance at North West Regional College per week.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Mechanical Engineers and attend North West Regional College one day per week

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• A minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above including English and Maths or equivalent level of qualification
• A knowledge and interest in Mechanical Engineering
• Applicants must be over 16 years of age
• Applicants must have applied for the Level 2 ETCAL Mechanical Engineering programme at North West Regional College
• Applicants must be prepared to progress to Level 3 of the Apprenticeship Framework in conjunction with NWRC

Further Information

37 hours per week including one day attendance at North West Regional College per week. Initially an apprenticeship contract however there may be the opportunity to gain temporary or permanent employment on completion of the apprenticeship programme depending on service needs.
