Job description

We are recruiting for a Technical Field Service Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance and servicing on various types of crushing screening equipment and washing systems.
• Investigate and resolve customer problems in a timely manner.
• Travelling to locations of customers with overnight stay when required.
• Ability to read and understand electrical and Hydraulic drawings.
• Work as part of a dedicated team delivering first class service to our customer network.
• Provide onsite technical support.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Technical service maintenance experience, preferably within the materials processing industry.
• Good general mechanical and electrical maintenance skills.
• Working knowledge of Diesel-Hydraulic and Electro-Hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read and understand electrical and Hydraulic drawings.
• Ability to work effectively across a range of cultures.
• A valid clean driver’s licence and passport.
• Computer literacy and experience in the use of Microsoft Office an advantage.
• Good initiative to follow up on and resolve issues.
• Strong communication skills.
• Positive & flexible ‘Can Do’ approach coupled with ability to work under pressure.
• Team player with a desire for personal improvement and advancement Manual handling, abrasive wheels, working at height and confined space tickets are an advantage but not essential.
• Training will be provided before commencing any work.

Please note the weekly hours exceed the 48 hour Working Time Directive and the successful applicant will be required to sign an "opt-out" form. All applicants must demonstrate through their application , how they meet the criteria for the position applied for. 2 permanent positions available to cover Northern Ireland and Southern Ireland. Occasional over night stays. company van provided to the right candidate. Fuel card provided. Full PPE.
