Job description

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a distributor of hardware, homeware, and gardening products, for an HGV Class 2 Driver based in Belfast.

Responsibilities

• Delivery goods to various locations around Northern Ireland.
• Sorting and placing goods onto racks and shelving, ensuring safe handling and storage.
• Collecting items from throughout the warehouse, accurately preparing and completing warehouse orders for delivery or pickup according to a schedule.
• Inspecting goods for damages and faults and communicating any faults to relevant parties.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• 2 years experience as a HGV Driver.
• Good levels of literacy and numeracy skills.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job.
• CPC qualification.
• Digital tachograph.
