Silver Cloud Care NI is currently recruiting for Domiciliary Care Assistants for our clients in the North Belfast area. The ideal candidate will be empathetic, caring, compassionate with a desire to care and support vulnerable adults in their own home. This role involves personal care, assisting with daily activities, supporting independence, and promoting dignity and respect. Being a Carer to someone is not just any job. As a Silver Carer you provide a selfless and much needed service . There is nothing more rewarding than knowing you have just brightened up someone's day! Responsibilities

• Ensure physical and emotional wellbeing.
• Assisting with dressing, bathing, toileting, and mobility support.
• Maintain excellent hygiene standards.
• Meal preparation.
• Companionship services, provide much needed company and and engaging conversation.
• Social Outings, go for a cuppa and a walk around the shops.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Excellent communication skills.
• Listening skills.
• Patience (you may have to listen to the same story numerous times).
• A caring and friendly nature.
• A non judgemental approach to care.
• Driver with Access to own transport.

Desirable Skills

• Previous experience working as a Care Assistant (not essential as full training will be provided).

Further Information

You will be required to undergo an enhanced Access NI enhanced check. Be registered with NISCC (or willing to register). Complete all mandatory training.
