Job description

Carer for 15 year old boy with Down's Syndrome to bring him to social activities such as parks, Streamvale farm, Transport museum, Folk museum, W5 etc.

Responsibilities

• To bring to and from social activities
• Pick up directly from school essential
• To work flexible hours when required

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Experience in a similar role
• Access to/own car
• Available in afternoons and evenings after school
• English as first language due to his communication issues

Desirable Skills

• Some experience with makaton
• Interest in outdoor activities

Further Information

Must be willing to complete access NI check and have access to/own car with business use insurance. There can be flexibility on days worked.
