Job description

We are currently seeking Health Care Assistants to join our team at Western Trust Hospitals (Altnagelvin Hospital). Assisting patients with daily activities. Please see employer website for full job details & person specification.

Responsibilities

• Assisting patients with daily activities
• Supporting patients with personal care
• Communicating with patients
• Assisting nursing staff when necessary
• Keeping departments tidy and ensuring equipment is clean
• Serving meals and helping patients eat

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Must have 6 months paid care experience
• Must be eligible to work in the UK
• To have, or be willing to attend all mandatory training courses for the role
• Willingness to undergo an enhanced Access NI check
