Clinical Trials / Unlicensed Pharmacy Technician
Job description
To co-ordinate the handling, dispensing, preparation and accountability of dispensary and aseptically prepared clinical trials drugs ensuring compliance with Trust and Departmental Clinical Trials Standard Operating Procedures, applicable legislation, ICHGCP (International Conference of Harmonisation of Good Clinical Practice), and the principles of Good Clinical Practice and Good Manufacturing Practice To co-ordinate all technical aspects in the management of Unlicensed Medicines within the Southern Trust
Responsibilities
- To work in any other area of Patient services as required by the needs of service.
- To obtain and maintain Good Clinical Practice (GCP) training. To apply principles of GCP to the daily conduct of clinical trials and work within relevant clinical trials legislative requirements. (SEE JD FOR MORE)
- To provide high quality, accurately dispensed medicines including extemporaneous products and participate in the final checking of prescriptions in line with the Acpt program.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Must have worked as a qualified pharmacy technician for a minimum of 2 years. (SEE JD FOR MORE)
