Job description

As a Cafe Manager, you will lead the team to deliver world class food & service for our clients and customers. You will be the motivation and guidance for your team for daily activities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that the front of house areas are clean, tidy and attractive during opening times
• Place orders for stock to maintain the correct stock levels
• Check and put away all deliveries promptly and correctly
• Ensure waste is kept to a minimum during beverage production
• Cash up at the end of a late shift and complete beverage stock takes when required

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Proven experience in managing successful teams in a similar environment
• NVQ Level 1 & 2 or City & Guilds 706 1 and 2
• Basic Food Hygiene certificate
• Experience of leading and managing a small team of people
• Minimum 2 years catering experience
• I.T  literate

Desirable Skills

• Excellent communication skills
