Job description

We are recruiting on behalf of our service user who requires a Care Assistant. The role involves supporting the service user to attend appointments and facilitating communication with healthcare providers as needed. Emotional support and companionship are key aspects of the role, along with encouraging and prompting independence in household tasks such as meal preparation and cleaning. Responsibilities

• The carer will be expected to use their initiative to organise and accompany the service user to community activities that promote inclusion and an active lifestyle.
• The carer will also assist with morning routines and provide support with personal care tasks where necessary.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Applicants should preferably have at least one year of care assistant experience and hold a valid driver’s licence.
