We have a fantastic opportunity at our Supported Living service in Malone, Belfast area, as we look for our next Team Leader! This is a Permanent contract, working 37.5 hours per week. Sense are offering Team Leaders £13.84 per hour. This is an exciting time to come and be part of a fantastic team at an established service supporting 6 independent individuals, one of whom won Sense Person of the Year last year! As the team leader, you will be required to complete administration tasks, help lead the team of Support Workers with the support from the manager and play an active, hands on role in providing support. You will provide this direct support alongside allocated office time.

Responsibilities

• Supporting individuals / groups / teams within the home, center and community.
• Assisting the manager in the day to day running of the service.
• Providing a customised, responsive and high quality service to people with multiple sensory impairments, physical and/or learning disabilities who use Sense services.
• Delivering services which meet or exceed organisational expectations and standards.
• Willing to work alternate weekends.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Positive, with a can-do attitude.
• Enthusiastic to participate in a wide range activities.
• Caring and empathetic.
• Passionate about enhancing other people’s lives.
• Hold a Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care or willing to complete one once you are in the role.
• You must hold a full manual Drivers licence, and be willing to drive a resident's vehicle.

Desirable Skills

• Have previous experience as a support worker or team leader in a similar setting is desirable; we’re happy to work with you to help you become an excellent Team Leader.
