We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Paint Sprayer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in preparing steel surfaces for painting, ensuring that all materials are ready and properly prepped for the painting process. This position requires a blend of mechanical knowledge, familiarity with power tools, and an eye for detail to ensure high-quality finishes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and priming as necessary to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
• Maintain a clean and organised workspace, ensuring all tools and materials are stored correctly.
• Assemble and fabricate components as required for the painting process.
• Operate various power tools and hand tools to assist in the preparation process.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines while working with chemicals and machinery.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Previous experience in a structural steel environment is preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate power tools effectively.
• Familiarity with basic Maths skills for measurements and calculations related to painting tasks.
