Job description
Work as a specialist Clinical Pharmacist developing and providing a high level of Clinical Pharmacy Services to the Intensive Care and Theatres sub directorate. Lead, manage and co ordinate a team of pharmacists working within their team. Work as an Independent Pharmacist Prescriber. Ensure the safe, effective and economic use of medicines. Advise and support the multi professional teams within ICU and Theatres on all matters relating to pharmacy and medicines management.
Responsibilities
- Develop good working relationships with the other members of the ICU and theatres sub-directorate; negotiating and influencing changes in prescribing practice to promote evidence based practice.

Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- 5 years post registration experience including 3 years in hospital of which 2 years must be at band 7 or above.
