Job description

This role involves preparing baked goods for dispatch by packing and wrapping products to a high standard of hygiene, accuracy, and presentation. You will play a key part in ensuring our products reach customers in perfect condition.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pack and wrap a variety of baked goods including bread, rolls, pastries, and cakes.
• Ensure correct labelling, sealing, and boxing of products for distribution.
• Maintain cleanliness of the packing area and adhere to food hygiene and safety standards.
• Assist with stock replenishment and monitoring packaging supplies.
• Follow all Health & Safety and Food Safety regulations, including HACCP procedures.
• Report any product quality issues or discrepancies to the supervisor.
• Undertake other duties as required within the production/packing environment.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work night shifts, including weekends as required.

Desirable Skills

• Previous experience in a food production or packing role.
• Knowledge of allergen handling and labelling requirements.
