Job description

The Deputy Service Manager will work closely with the Service Manager to deliver a high quality, safe and effective Community Addictions Service. She/he will work with the Service Manager in the planning and delivery of this service, ensuring effective multi-disciplinary working and the most efficient use of resources. She/he will have responsibility for a defined caseload of clients as the service requires. She/he will deputise for the Service Manager as necessary. If from Social work or Nursing professional background he/she will provide professional social work or nursing supervision for social workers and nurses within the team.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• A professional qualification in nursing, social work or an allied health profession that is recognised by the appropriate governing body
