Childcare Assistant required.

To meet the needs of the children
To adhere to companies policies and procedures
To build relationships with children, parents and staff
To work well as a team member
To suggest appropriate activities for play programmes.
To maintain and participate in all routines within your unit.
To provide a stimulating environment for the children at all times.
To speak with the parents if your supervisor is not present or is busy with another parent, regarding the welfare and behaviour of their children and ensuring a quality handover is given.
To complete daily information for all children and to ensure the information recorded is accurately conveyed to parents.
To participate in and maintain cleaning routines within your unit.
To participate in making age appropriate wall displays and allowing for the display of the children’s work.
To administer any medication as instructed by your supervisor.
To work in partnership with all other staff to create an effective nursery team and be involved in all activities associated with the nursery.
To prepare, clean and maintain playrooms and equipment within the nursery.
To ensure that confidentiality is maintained at all times.
To be flexible and undertake any other duties as reasonably requested by the manager or deputy manager.
