Developer Services is responsible for liaising with private developers and household customers in relation to the provision of new water and wastewater services. Reporting to the L6 Servicing Technical Advisor, the L7 Servicing Technical Assistant will perform administration and correspondence duties across Developer Services until such times as these duties are superseded due to the introduction of digital systems. The L7 Servicing Technical Assistant will ensure a customer centric ethos in processing records requests, mail, lodgements and assisting in the non-technical triage of applications and uploading and updating of data on OMIS Database. About the role: £12.56 per hour Westland House, Belfast 37.5 hours per week Temporary up to 6 months Public Sector Closing date: Thursday 10th July

Responsibilities

  • Working as part of a team to achieve statutory and business SLA targets relating to servicing processes.
  • Assist in the completion of non-technical triage processes for Article 154, & 76 applications, PDEs and Build Overs.
  • Receipt, appraisal, logging and allocation of business mail associated with the DS team.
  • General office administration including filing, photocopying, scanning and clerical work.
  • Preparation and maintenance of administrative records e.g. maintenance of appropriate filing systems, both electronic and manual.
  • Handling correspondence including producing and issuing standard letters and records requests.
  • Processing applications and lodgement of fees received under the Company’s Scheme of Charges - Miscellaneous Standard Charges procedure.
  • Retrieve and collate information for staff and managers and deal with queries as required.
  • Deal effectively with telephone queries and those in person.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • A minimum of 5 GCSE’s Grade C or above, to include English and Maths, or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years’ relevant working experience in a similar role.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office applications including Word, Outlook, Excel and Access.
  • Demonstrable experience of providing good customer service to clients.
