Job description

We are seeking Mixing / Machine Operatives for our client, Stone Bakery, a gluten free bakery that supplies most of their produce to America and Australia based in Crossmaglen. As a Mixing / Machine Operative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of the production line operations.

Responsibilities

• As a mixing operative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate weigh up and mixing of recipes.
• Operation of mixing machines.
• Weigh up individual ingredients against recipes.
• Complete traceability paperwork.
• Assign the correct ingredient quantities to the recipes.
• Follow established health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets and deadlines.
• Machine maintenance.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Good understanding of English, both written and verbal to understand and communicate in English for Health and Safety reasons.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Willingness to follow safety protocols and guidelines.
• Preference will be given to candidates with previous experience in a similar role.

Hours Per Week: Day Shift: 36 Hours per week with potential overtime Night Shift: Week 1: 48 hours, Week 2: 36 hours Working Hours: Day shift: 7am - 7pm Night shift 7pm - 7am Please note the weekly hours exceed the 48 hour Working Time Directive and the successful applicant may be required to sign an "opt-out" form.
