Personal Activities Leader
Job description
We are recruiting for a Personal Activities Leader to join our Care Home. The main purpose of the job is to initiate an on-going programme of leisure and recreational activities of a consistently high standard for Ann's Care Homes residents.
Responsibilities
- Produce an ongoing programme of events (in-house entertainment, outings and group activities) which are both mentally and physically stimulating and of interest to people who use ACH services.
- Create a programme that commits to the therapeutic value of age appropriate activities for older people.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Eligibility to work in UK.
- Good communication skills.
- GCSE Maths and English or equivalent.
- Basic IT skills.
Desirable Skills
- Experience within a care home setting, is preferred but not essential.
- NVQ level 2 or 3 desirable but not essential.
