Job description

The successful Candidate will be responsible for the day to day administration of the Practice and supervision of the Reception Staff.

Responsibilities

  • Customer Service - Reception duties as & when required
  • Staff Supervision
  • Administration - Ensure Reception Staff maintain computerised, manual records & filing systems
  • Information Technology - Ensure systems are in place for managing records of computer backups
  • Finance - Responsible for maintaining petty cash & ordering stock
  • Training - Attend mandatory training as required
  • General Responsibilities - Equality, Human Rights, Confidentiality, Public Relations, Environment, Health & Safety, Quality, Staff performance & development, Training

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • General practice experience essential
  • 5 GCSE's including Maths & English @ grade C or above or To possess a minimum of 2 years recent clerical/ reception experience
  • To be IT literate with a minimum of 2 years experience of working effectively with computer packages
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Ability to communicate fluently and effectively both in writing & orally with members of the public and all grades of staff
  • Ability to use own initiative and work effectively under pressure
  • Responsibility for designated of work

Hours 25 per week to be confirmed at interview £13.52 per hour On-site parking
