Administrative & Financial Officer


Job description

Reporting to the Parish Priest the role entails provision of administrative and financial support. This will be inclusive of a range of administrative duties, including the maintenance of Parish and parishioner records, payment of accounts due and maintenance of accurate and timely financial records using Lifetime Computerised Systems.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Applicants must possess a minimum of 5 GCSE’s including Maths and English to grade C, or equivalent.
  • Relevant administrative experience/have worked in an office environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of database systems.
  • Knowledge of computerised accounting systems.
  • Knowledge and understanding of GDPR.

Desirable Skills

  • Knowledge of Lifetime Parish Management Systems, knowledge of Gift Aid.

Further Information

Salary: £12.21 - £13.50 per hour (currently under review)
