Silver Cloud Care NI is currently recruiting for Domiciliary Care Assistants for our clients in the Moira area. This role involves personal care, assisting with daily activities, supporting independence, and promoting dignity and respect.

Responsibilities

• Ensure physical and emotional wellbeing.
• Assisting with dressing, bathing, toileting, and mobility support.
• Maintain excellent hygiene standards.
• Meal preparation.
• Companionship services, provide much needed company and and engaging conversation.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Be registered with NISCC (or willing to register).
• Excellent communication skills.
• Listening skills.
• A non judgemental approach to care.
• Patience (you may have to listen to the same story numerous times).
• Driver with access to/own car.

Desirable Skills

• Previous experience working as a Care Assistant (not essential as full training will be provided).

Further Information
