Job description
Silver Cloud Care NI is currently recruiting for Domiciliary Care Assistants for our clients in the Saintfield area for mornings and weekends. The ideal candidate will have the desire to care and support vulnerable adults in their own home. Being a Carer to someone is not just any job. As a Silver Carer you provide a selfless and much needed service. There is nothing more rewarding than knowing you have just brightened up someone's day! We pay £14 per hour plus Mileage! Minimum calls 1 hour.
Responsibilities
- Promote dignity and respect.
- Ensure physical and emotional wellbeing.
- Assisting with dressing, bathing, toileting, and mobility support.
- Meal preparation.
- Companionship services, provide much needed company and and engaging conversation.
- Social Outings, go for a cuppa and a walk around the shops.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Excellent communication skills.
- Good listener.
- Driver with access to own car.
- Be registered with NISCC (or willing to register).
Further Information
You will be required to undergo an enhanced Access NI enhanced check. Complete all mandatory training. We offer flexible working hours and a great rate of pay.
