Silver Cloud Care NI is currently recruiting for Domiciliary Care Assistants for our clients in the Hillsborough area. The ideal candidate will be empathetic, caring, compassionate with a desire to care and support vulnerable adults in their own home. Being a Carer to someone is not just any job. As a Silver Carer you provide a selfless and much needed service . There is nothing more rewarding than knowing you have just brightened up someone's day. We pay £14 per hour plus Mileage! Minimum 1 hour calls.

Responsibilities

• Promoting dignity and respect.
• Supporting independence.
• Assisting with dressing, bathing, toileting, and mobility support.
• Meal preparation.
• Companionship services, provide much needed company and and engaging conversation.
• Social outings, go for a tea/coffee and a walk around the shops.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Excellent communication skills.
• A caring and friendly nature.
• Driver with access to own car.
• A non judgemental approach to care.

Desirable Skills

• Previous experience working as a Care Assistant (not essential as full training will be provided).

Further Information

You will be required to undergo an enhanced Access NI enhanced check. Be registered with NISCC (or willing to register). Complete all mandatory training. We offer flexible working hours and a great rate of pay. Sorry, but we do not currently offer sponsorship.
