Job description

To ensure the safety, general welfare and conduct of pupils during the lunchtime period.

Responsibilities

• To supervise pupils in designated areas of the school during the lunchtime period and to ensure their safety, welfare and general conduct through appropriate application of the school's policies and procedures.
• To establish safe and appropriate behaviour by effective intervention and where appropriate, referral to the Line Manager/Bursar.
• To demonstrate flexibility in relation to covering different areas of the school.
• To report any incidents and accidents that occur during lunchtime to the Line Manager/Bursar in line with school policies and procedures.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Good communication skills.

Desirable Skills

• Experience working with young people desirable.
