Warehouse Operator
Job description
Our Client a leading supplier of pottery materials and equipment are seeking a Warehouse Operator to Join their team in Swatragh. Our Client is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented individual to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual who wants to play a crucial role in supporting our clients warehouse operations and contribute significantly to their success. Responsibilities
- Manage warehouse queries and tasks.
- Receive deliverables of packaging stock, check quantities and store tidily.
- Receive deliverables of bulk stock. Check quantities, record receipt and pass on paperwork to the appropriate UCPS staff.
- Keep shelves restocked from bulk storage.
- To work efficiently as part of the Warehouse Team to achieve targets as outlined by Commercial Manager.
- Pick and pack customer orders to achievable agreed turn-around targets and using suitable packaging products.
- Maintaining accurate warehouse records in compliance with company standards.
- Assisting in preparing or circulating inventory reports.
- To observe and comply with high levels of Health and Safety.
- To be adaptable and flexible in approach of work.
- Liaise with colleagues across a variety of teams throughout the company
- Other general warehouse duties as determined by business needs.
- Training to service and maintain kilns.
- Ensuring kilns are operating efficiently and safely.
- Assisting with kiln repairs and maintenance as needed.
- Work closely with other departments to provide warehouse support as needed across the company
- Any other tasks as deemed appropriate by the Commercial Manager or other Management members.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Previous warehouse experience
- Good customer-focused approach.
- Excellent IT literacy (including Word, Adobe, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
- Ability to manage a busy workload and prioritise tasks on own initiative, working to tight deadlines.
- Good planning and organisational skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to manage and coordinate electronic records systems.
- Good team player and to have a proactive approach to all tasks.
