Job description

The post holder will work as a specialist clinical pharmacist in Paediatric Critical Care. The post holder will lead, develop, evaluate and be responsible for clinical pharmacy services to Paediatric Critical Care and Paediatric Surgery, in accordance with objectives and priorities agreed by mulit-professional collaboration between the post holder, Lead Pharmacist Paediatrics and senior medical and nursing staff in order to ensure the safe, clinically effective and cost efficient use of drugs.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Experience in paediatric critical care or paediatric surgery
• Be a member of the Pharmaceutical Society of Northern Ireland or eligible to register

Desirable Skills

• Experience of teaching the wider multi-professional team.
