Job description

We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our dedicated team at McElmeel Mobility Services. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing vehicles to ensure they meet our high standards of safety and functionality. You will complete annual checks, warranty and repair work. Your contributions will directly impact the lives of our customers by providing them with reliable mobility solutions.

Responsibilities

• Attend planned WAV (wheelchair accessible vehicle) checks & respond to service calls throughout Northern Ireland.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various vehicle types.
• Carry out service in a timely manner, to the highest standard as per training and product supplier guidelines.
• Have full product working knowledge of all vehicles, conversions and adaptations provided by McElmeel Mobility Services.
• Work in tandem with service and aftersales administrators to carry out all necessary administration to a clear and concise standard.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure all work meets industry standards.
• Provide excellent customer service.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in a similar role.
• Full driving licence.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Good communication skills to provide excellent customer service.
• Experience in a field-based role.

Further Information

Successful appointment will see you work 2/3 days per week on the road, travelling throughout Northern Ireland, with the other days based onsite.
