GRASP Development Officer
Job description
The GRASP Programme Development Officer will be responsible for managing participant recruitment across defined areas and will collaborate with partners as a member of a cross-border team to manage the delivery of programme activities.
Responsibilities
- To support the Project Manager to implement an operational plan providing for the efficient and effective discharge of the GRASP Programme across the contract Area.
- To lead participant recruitment for all GRASP provision delivered by NWRC, including Women into Construction and Green Skills Academies ensuring that recruitment to all provision is maximised and KPIs met.
- Coordinate the delivery of the GRASP Women into Construction and Green Skills Academies, ensuring that all programme administration requirements are met.
- Collaborate with College and programme partners and stakeholders to co-design Academies ensuring alignment with industry need.
- Administer any and all benefits and barrier payments which may be payable to participants on Academy programmes.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Have at least a Level 5 qualification in the area of Construction, Renewable Technologies, Sustainability or Business Management.
- Have GCSE English (Grade C or higher) or Essential Skills Level 2 (or higher) in Communication, or any qualifications which are deemed to be equivalent.
- Have GCSE Maths (Grade C or higher) or Essential Skills Level 2 (or higher) in Numeracy, or NICATS Access Maths Modules, or any qualifications which are deemed to be equivalent.
- Have at least two years experience of design, development and delivery of skills/innovation or sustainability programmes that impact on community and/or industry.
- Have a current driving licence and access to a car (Applicants with a disability who have been prevented from obtaining a driving licence due to their disability (as defined by the DDA 1995) are eligible to apply).
