Job description

Supervising afterschool children from primary 1 - primary 7.

Responsibilities

• Working alongside room supervisor and other team members to plan and implement activities within care room.
• Homework activities.
• Preparing and providing afternoon snack
• Helping nursery management with local school runs.
• Working alongside other afterschool room members.
• Working alongside parents.
• Ensuring the needs of children are met and planning and organising daily activities.
• Adhering to nursery policies and procedures.
• During school closures planning local outings and trips for the children.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Level 2 or 3 or equivalent qualification in children or be willing to undertake within 1 year of post.
• Experience working with young children.

Desirable Skills

• Clean driving licence.
• Food hygiene qualification.
• First Aid qualification.
