Job description

The Nature-Based Health & Wellbeing Coordinator is responsible for delivering and supporting green and blue care programmes that utilise natural assets to improve health and wellbeing across rural Derry/Londonderry City & Strabane. This includes coordinating outdoor activities, working with local recreational companies and community organisations, and ensuring programmes are inclusive and meet local needs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating outdoor activities, working with local recreational companies and community organisations, and ensuring programmes are inclusive and meet local needs
• Participant recruitment, promotion through media and community channels, and completing all monitoring, evaluation, and reporting in line with SEUPB requirements.
• Manage procurement processes and provides regular updates to management and funders.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• 5 GCSE’s (including English & Maths) and A relevant third Level qualifications & 2 years experience in community development Or 4 years experience in community development.
• Access to own transport & full clean driving licence required.
