Job description

ONE Mechanic URGENTLY needed to work for our client, the Northern Ireland Housing Executive, in Pennybridge Industrial Estate, Ballymena. This is an immediate start position set to last for 3 months with a rate of pay of £13.91 per hour and the hours of work will be Monday to Thursday 8am - 4.30pm and Friday 8am - 1pm.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly examine and inspect the condition, road worthiness, and safety of vehicles and equipment.
• Service, repair, and prepare vehicles for PSV / MOT in a safe, efficient, and cost effective manner.
• Conduct routine repairs and major services on a range of grounds maintenance equipment.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• 1 years experience working as a Mechanic.
• NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent.
• Willingness to undergo a Basic Access NI check.

Desirable Skills

• Relevant experience.
