Community OT Professional Lead
Job description
The post holder will assist the Integrated Care Team Manager with the implementation and delivery of an integrated model of care for one of seven geographical teams. He/she will work very closely with district nursing and social work lead colleagues to ensure there is a co-ordinated and integrated approach to allocation, assessment, delivery and monitoring of high quality and safe care. The post holder will carry a designated clinical caseload. As the occupational therapy lead the post holder will also be responsible for the delivery of high quality occupational therapy services and the day to day supervision of the team’s occupational therapy staff. The post holder will ensure that all occupational therapy practices comply with the requisite professional standards and HPC Code of Conduct. The post holder will also assist the Integrated Care Team Manager with service planning, financial and resource management.
Responsibilities
- Make an active contribution to various working groups and project teams.
- Support the Integrated Care Team Manager with all workforce planning and reform initiatives.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Be on the live Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) register.
- Evidence of Master’s education/ modules or equivalent or willingness to complete education and training within 12-18 months.
