Job description

Experienced Tig welder/fabricator required. Work entails bespoke interior Fitout, metalwork in Stainless steel, Aluminum and Mild steel. The company also does sheet metal laser cutting and folding. This position is Full time and permanent based in maghaberry.

Responsibilities

• Tig welding.
• Fabrication.
• General health and safety.
• Working with different materials.
• Operate power tools and hand tools to cut, shape, and assemble metal parts.
• Fabricate components according to specifications and engineering drawings.
• Perform welding tasks using stick welding techniques to join metal pieces securely.
• Conduct inspections of finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to optimise production processes and improve efficiency.
• Utilise basic maths skills for measurements and calculations during fabrication tasks.

Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience in metal fabrication, particularly with sheet metal. Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools relevant to the trade. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot fabrication issues. Experience in welding, spec

Further Information
