About the role: £13.00-£15.00 per hour (DOE) Monday to Friday Contributory pension scheme. £500 Refer a Friend Scheme, payable to both new and referring employee. Employee Assistance Programme. Responsibilities

• Selecting the appropriate welding equipment to carry out the task at hand.
• Cutting metal and reinforced steel to the required specifications using gas torch or electric arc.
• Using welding torch and CO2 welding machine.
• Cleaning and smoothing of welds, to include polishing.
• Quality inspection of work to ensure there are no defects.
• Ensuring compliance with the Company’s policies; including Health & Safety.
• Observing and complying with all good working Any other tasks requested by line manager practices within the company.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in Welding / Fabrication.
• The ability to read and understand drawings.
• The ability to work to a high degree of accuracy.
• Excellent organisation and communication skills.
• A good understanding of Health & Safety.
