Silver Cloud Care NI is currently recruiting for Carer/Companion for our client in Newry (Night Sits only). The ideal candidate will be empathetic, caring, compassionate with a desire to care and support vulnerable adults in their own home. Being a Carer to someone is not just any job. As a Silver Carer you provide a selfless and much needed service. There is nothing more rewarding.

Responsibilities

• Ensure physical and emotional wellbeing
• Support independence with dignity and respect.
• Ensure client gets safely to the toilet during the night
• Make breakfast

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A non judgemental approach to care

Desirable Skills

• Previous experience working as a Care Assistant (not essential as full training will be provided)

Further Information

You will be required to undergo an enhanced Access NI enhanced check Be registered with NISCC (or willing to register) Complete all mandatory training. We offer flexible working hours and a great rate of pay.
