Community Development Officer working as part of the network team in provision of community development support to rural community organisations and individuals, through network services and programmes. This post provides a new opportunity for a person with an interest in community development support to enter employment and progress within the community and voluntary sector

Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- A minimum of 4 GCSE’s (or educational equivalent) at grade C or above including English and Mathematics
- Competent in use Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc
- The ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
- Full valid Driving Licence and access to a mode of transport that would enable you to carry out the duties of this post
- Willing to undergo an Access NI Check to obtain a Disclosure Certificate issued by AccessNI
Desirable Skills
- Experience of project implementation and proven organisational ability
- Evidence of a range of essential communication skills both in person and online, e.g., presentations, public meetings, group facilitation & group-based training
